Abdomen ultrasound is used to look at organs in the abdominal area: liver, gall bladder, spleen, pancres, kidneys and other internal organs.<\/p>\n

It is a safe and non invasive imaging test that uses sound waves to make images of the abdomen. In order to visualize abdominal structures correctly, the patient must be on an empty stomach and have a full bladder by drinking water 30 minutes before the examination.<\/p>\n
